In the Before Times, before Covid, the fashion design graduates of Parsons would have staged a runway show at New York Fashion Week.

This  year, the program’s director Shelley Fox worked with the video firm “1 Granary” to produce a film showcasing the ten graduates of the Parsons MFA program. The Parsons MFA film was shot in locations as far flung as Australia and China for the virtual school of 2020.

The students were finally able to construct their designs — thanks to Parsons’ connections in New York City’s fashion industry — via Zoom fittings and the use of toile fabric patterns sent to local workrooms.
